Smoother Hollands
The Holland Group says its Model FW33 LowLube fifth wheel is designed to provide "newly greased" smoothness in turns and steering. Part of the company's 3500 series of fifth wheels, the LowLube uses patented, easily replaceable urethane top plate "inserts" that eliminate the need for lubricating the top plate. There's an easily accessible grease fitting connected to a greae tube that permits lubrication of the lock jaws and kingpin without uncoupling tractor and trailer. In addition, Holland has developed NoLube technology for its landing gear.
