Amarillo, Florence TAs Opening
Two new TravelCenters of America, in Amarillo, Texas, and Florence, Ky., opened late last year. The Amarillo TA was built on the site of a former National 76 Auto/Truckstop, while the Florence TA was built on a former Burns Bros. site.
The Amarillo TA at Exit 74 off I-40 has eight diesel lanes, CAT scales, 121 parking spots, a Buckhorn restaurant, Park 'N View, a Burger King, a Popeye's Chicken and a Pizza Hut Express. The Florence site at Highway 71S and Route 18 also has eight fuel lanes and CAT scales, as well as 141 parking spots, a Mrs. B's Pantry, a Popeye's Chicken and a Pizza Hut Express.
