NHTSA Offers 'Lemon Aid'
If you own or drive a truck you think has a safety-related defect, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) wants to know. Call its Motor Vehicle Hotline, (888) 327-4236, to report problems in tractors, trailers and other motor vehicles. You can also report the defect on the Internet at http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/hotline. Also, of course, report the problem to your safety manager and shop.
