Lockin' Loads
Three firms offer new load-securing devices:
- The Single Saver Clamp (right, top) is made of tough aluminum and is designed to attach to load locks or cargo bars to prevent side shifting. - Driver Bruce W. Powell created the Load Lock Hanger (right) that attaches permanently to trailer walls with epoxy adhesive. It offers a secure way to hang load locks out of the way of forklifts; it can also help remind you to make sure you don't leave any behind. (800) 491-0011 or http://www.loadlockhangers.com.
- Save-a-Load (704-334-9062), www.saveaload.com offers an Anti-theft Rack for its hydraulic aluminum cargo bracing bars (left). The rack holds up to three bars, and locks with an ordinary padlock.
