In today's high-stress, just-in-time, hot-freight, low-pay, expensive-diesel, traffic-jammed transportation world, it's tempting to feel everyone's against truckers. The truth is much more complicated than that.
The same pressures you feel also bear down on most of the people you deal with on a daily basis. Like you, they have jobs to do, jobs that ultimately keep the trucks rolling, the loads moving, and the roads safe. But that can be hard to understand when you're stopped and drumming your fingers on the steering wheel.
It's said that you shouldn't judge someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes.
