TA Freightliner ServicePoint Program Grows
Owners and drivers of Freightliner trucks are finding it increasingly easy and convenient to get warranty service, minor repairs and maintenance on the road, as the Freightliner ServicePoint Program at TAs rapidly adds locations.
At least 148 TAs are expected to offer Freightliner ServicePoint by the end of 2000. The partnership with Freightliner pairs the truck builders' 300 dealers with TA's nationwide network of travel centers. The program offers express service, minor repairs, preventive maintenance, DOT inspections and trailer maintenance and repair.
Each grand opening of a new Freightliner ServicePoint site features a display of Freightliner vehicles, as well as a special Freightliner Tour 2000 Classic XL and a trailer that opens to display the program's features. As part of the grand openings, the first 200 drivers to have work done at a newly opened site get free Freightliner caps and are eligible for prize drawings.
Also, Freightliner's Mid-America Trucking Show booth spotlighted the TA Freightliner ServicePoint program with a mock-up highway, overhead sign and TA location.
