Fit to be Tired
New Firestone tire handles long distance hauling

With an ultra-deep tread, the new FD690 PLUS tire from Firestone is aimed at owner-operators seeking maximum original tread life from their drive axle tires.

The tread of the FD690 PLUS features an aggressive block/lug design, with numerous angled edges to cut through water and road films. The center lugs are linked to each other with tie bars to add stability against tread squirm and to fight heel and toe wear.

Additional tread stability is provided by a continuous shoulder design. By resisting side forces, the shoulders of the FD690 PLUS help prevent the initiation and spread of irregular wear.

This tire, available in load rating G, is suitable for both single and tandem drive axle applications.

For more information on the tire, go to www.trucktires.com, or call (800) 543-7522.
