2 Fast 2 Furious
Here's a sequel to The Fast and the Furious, which exploded Vin Diesel's career in the summer of 2001. The action star opted out of this follow-up, which is set in Miami and involves much street racing, undercover drug agents and crooked cops. A video game crossed with a buddy movie, with elements of a comedy thrown in, it's an action-packed film.
Stephen King Collector Set
Misery/The Dark Half/
Needful Things/Carrie
Just in time for Halloween, here's a four-disc fright fest from Stephen King. Two of King's better-known screen adaptations (Misery and Carrie) sandwich two flicks you might not be familiar with. The Dark Half tells of a Maine writer who kills off his alter ego, only to become the prime suspect in a series of gruesome murders. Needful Things is about a store that opens in a small town selling one each of the item each person in the town desires. You'll most likely remember Misery as the story of a horror writer held hostage by a crazed fan (played by Kathy Bates) and the classic Carrie, the tale of high school revenge that culminates in a rather bloody senior prom.
