Topping 12 feet in height and 14,000 pounds in weight, this Coca-Cola Monster Truck is a delivery truck with big ideas.

The custom-built truck was commissioned by Coke to appear at Wal-Mart grand openings nationwide. It's four-wheel drive and generates 670 hp.

Yet its might is more for looks than action.

"It doesn't crush anything," says Jeff Denton, president of Vengeance Motorsports, the Ozark, Mo.-based company that designed and built the monster truck earlier this year. "The truck draws attention, but doesn't throw its weight around."

Denton is at work on two more monster trucks, one of which will be at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky., March 25-27, 2004.

And yes, that one will be even bigger and mightier.

"The new truck will be capable of over 2,000 horsepower," says Denton, a racing enthusiast who has been racing monster trucks for several years.
