Two lucky truckers were awarded very special rides as part of the TA "Swipe Your Way to Winning" sweepstakes, which took place this summer.

Charles Sanford won a 2003 Harley-Davidson Road King Motorcycle and Jose Hernandez won a 2003 Dodge Ram Pickup. Both winners picked up their new wheels recently.

The truckers won the prizes by buying diesel fuel at any TA location from May-June. Each time a trucker used their RoadKing Club™ card to buy fuel, they were entered into the sweepstakes. A random drawing was held to choose the winners.

"I'm in shock-nothing like this has ever happened to me before," said Sanford, who stops only at TAs when he's on the road.

"TA is a great place for showers," he said, "I also like the food."

Hernandez, from Eagle Pass, Texas, is a driver with Express Carriers.

TA also gave away dozens of weekly prizes, including radar detectors, XM Satellite Receivers and TV/DVD players.
