Sandy Bryan is a long-time TravelCenters of America employee who believes in making a difference. Each year she organizes blood drives at the TA near Phoenix, with a unique incentive.

"I take pottery classes and always have lots of pots at home," says Bryan.

That type of personal dedication has made blood drives at the Eloy location very successful in the 11 years Bryan has been general manager. Bryan started working for TA in 1974 and has held many jobs, from fuel cashier to bookkeeper to store profit center manager. "I've liked all the different positions," Bryan says. "As GM, there's something different everyday."

Bryan makes good use of her time off, heading to the nearby Grand Canyon for some awe-inspiring sights. This year will mark the fourth time she's hiked it rim to rim. "It's truly one of the wonders of the world," she says. "I can't get enough of it."
