Maverick Drivers Get Pay Raise

Starting January 4, Maverick Transportation will offer starting pay of up to 36 cents per mile for drivers in the company's long haul fleet and up to 35 cents per mile in its regional fleets. The amounts mark a raise of as much as 4-cents per mile. Maverick also announced it will implement a per diem pay option of .08 cents per mile. Maverick is based in Little Rock, Ark., and operates 875 units.
