New Year, New Menu

A carving station, low-carb menu items and new healthy dining alternatives await you at all TravelCenters of America restaurants.

Starting this month, TA is adding several new menu items to give drivers more of what they want to eat when they're on the road.

Trying to cut back on carbohydrates? New low-carb alternatives at TA restaurants include an Angus burger with cheese, a three-egg omelet stuffed with bacon, sausage and cheese or two char-grilled chicken breasts topped with mozzarella cheese.

You'll also find carving stations at several restaurant locations, where a whole turkey or top round of roast beef will be available as part of the buffet line for only $1 more. New healthier dining options include low-fat and fat-free dressings, no-sugar-added applesauce and raspberry fruit sauce sweetened with the sugar alternative Splenda®. You'll also find vegetarian choices on the menu, such as a vegetarian sub sandwich, and cottage cheese.

"Drivers have been asking us for more dining options, and we've heard them," said Fred Dobson, TA's restaurant marketing manager. "We want to offer choices so they can find what they want, even when they're away from home."
