This year, the government made its first changes to Hours-of-Service regulations in nearly 60 years. When the new regulations took affect January 4, they were greeted with confusion and questions from many truckers. Schneider Logistics has developed a new training program that carriers can purchase and customize to meet the needs of their drivers and internal employees. Schneider has trained more than 8,500 of its own drivers using the materials, which include a complete training guide, detailed examples for each logging scenario, facilitator notes, driver workbooks and a self test.
