Mountain Climbing
by Ivan Sylvester

It may be the most visited mountain in North America, but Pikes Peak is one incline you want to observe, not climb, on June 26. That's when the annual race up the 9,402-feet above sea level peak takes place, with stock cars, motorcycles and 18-wheelers attempting the 12.42 mile course. This year features two veteran big rig drivers: Mike Ryan in a 2000 Freightliner Century Class ST and Bruce Canepa in a 2003 Kenworth T2000.
