All the foods in this meal have been shown to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, according to Dr. Oscar Franco, a public health expert at the Erasmus Medical Center. For people over age 50, consuming the daily equivalent of this optimal health meal could slash the odds of suffering from heart disease by 76 percent.
