NASCAR Haulers Strut Their Stuff

WHEN THE MONSTER ENERGY NASCAR CUP SERIES ROLLS INTO VEGAS for week three of the 2017 season—literally and figuratively—tens of thousands of fans will line the Strip for an awesome show of mega-dollar haulers. Suspended in 2016 due to a NASCAR authorized test session, the wildly popular Hauler Parade returns to the schedule and will make its way north on the historic 4.2-mile stretch of Las Vegas Blvd., starting at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time on Thursday, March 9.

Featuring approximately 40 meticulously detailed, brightly colored 18-wheel haulers, the parade is a favorite among NASCAR fans of all ages. Accompanied by a police escort, the haulers will be welcomed to Las Vegas as they head up the Strip, before making their way to I-15 via Sahara Boulevard and heading north to their garage stalls outside the Neon Garage at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS), which sits like a diamond in the desert. The Petro North Linda and Bob Caffee Stopping Center is located at Exit 54 onto Speedway Blvd., just .7 mile from LVMS.

“The hauler parade is one of the unique events of our NASCAR Weekend, and we’re thrilled to be able to bring it back to Las Vegas for our fans,” said LVMS President Chris Powell. “It’s quite a spectacle to see all of the haulers together, driving up one of the most famous streets in the world. We’re looking forward to a great 2017 NASCAR Weekend, and this is the perfect way to kick things off.”

The March 10-12 weekend begins with practice sessions and Stratosphere Pole Day on Friday, continues with the NASCAR Xfinity Series Boyd Gaming 300 on Saturday, and concludes with the 20th Kobalt 400 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday. Defending race winner Brad Keselowski passed Las Vegas native Kyle Busch with five to go for the 2016 Cup win. When accompanied by a ticketed adult, children 12 and under are admitted free on Friday and Saturday and for just $10 on Sunday. If you’re traveling through the area, call 800.644.4444 or log on to LVMS.com for tickets.
