Renovations Complete at TA Columbia North

Set in the heart of historic South Carolina, the completely renovated Columbia North TA Travel Center has undergone extensive remodeling and installation of upgrades to provide professional drivers with a complete, full-service travel center.

Noteworthy upgrades include a renovated two-bay truck service center complete with a new retail center and expanded diagnostic and service capabilities. A brightly lit parking lot with 78 angled truck spaces provides added convenience. Professional drivers can take on DEF in the four new diesel lanes. Weighing loads is fast and convenient on the CAT® Scale installation. Under the direction of GM of Truck Service John Novotny, truck service and RoadSquad® emergency roadside assistance are available 24/7/365.

Upon entering through the new professional drivers’ entrance, you’ll immediately notice the amenity upgrades. Talk about a new level of comfort—check out the all-new drivers’ lounge with its laptop desks and DirecTV®. You’ll appreciate the large, clean, brightly lit restrooms. Seven spotless showers are easily accessed through the fully automated reservation system, as well as via the TA/Petro TruckSmart® mobile app.

New Minit Mart®

GM of Store David Tabler and his staff are ready to serve you in the newly renovated Minit Mart® convenience store. It offers a wide selection of fresh foods, snacks and a variety of hot and cold beverages including Cool Cup® fountain beverages and delicious World Blends® coffee. Fresh food offerings include healthy Good2Go fresh fruit and veggie choices, plus a variety of delicious snacks.

The spacious, well-stocked store offers a wide range of merchandise including personal care items, clothing, electronics, truck lubricants and additives, protective gear, and accessories. A helpful staff is available to assist you in finding the right products for your truck and travel needs.

Because you never know when hunger pangs might strike, Taco Bell® and Dunkin’ Donuts® quick-service restaurants offer a range of choices. A common area seats 84 guests in a clean, relaxing environment.

For the Fitness Minded

If keeping fit is one of your priorities, stop in at the FREE StayFit® fitness room (free to professional drivers who are UltraONE® Driver Rewards Program members). Whether on a short break or shutting down for the day, a few laps on the outdoor walking trail provide a great way to introduce some physical activity into your daily routine.

Don’t forget the convenient laundry room with machines that accept credit/debit card payments, and even send you a text message when the cycle is finished.
